Bidding at the wine auction

A list of upcoming auctions and dates is available on this website.
The auctioned works can be viewed on the website or in the auction catalogue.
(All the works will be made available on the website approximately two weeks before the auction).

Preview

Before the auction, a pre-auction viewing will be held to showcase all the works on display.
See for yourself the charm and condition of the works, which cannot be fully grasped from the catalogue.
The pre-auction viewing does not require a reservation and admission is free. Please feel free to come.
(In view of the infection situation of the new coronavirus, reservations may be required. Please understand).
New
Registration
Prior customer registration (free of charge) is required for the first time only.
Registration can be made online or by mail. (Identification documents are required for registration.) New registrations will not be accepted on the day of the event, so please register by the day before the preview.

New registrations will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on the day before the pre-auction. No registrations will be accepted on the day of the pre-auction/auction.

Bidding method

    Venue bidding

    You can bid directly at the auction site.
    On the day of the auction, please pick up your number card (paddle) at the reception desk and participate in the auction.
    The auction proceeds in order of lot number.
    Bidders are asked to present their number paddle to the auctioneer on the platform.
    If you are successful in winning the auction, please confirm the contents of the 'Auction Confirmation Form' when you leave and sign it to complete the process.

    Advance bidding with a 'written offer to purchase'.
    Please fill in the 'Written Offer to Purchase' form at the end of the auction catalogue and send it by e-mail or fax so that it arrives at the Company no later than two days before the auction date.
    If you do not have the 'Written Offer to Purchase' at hand, please contact us. We will send it to you by e-mail or fax.

    This method allows you to participate in the auction by connecting with us by telephone in real time on the day of the auction.
    Please fill in the 'Written Offer to Purchase' form at the end of the auction catalogue and send it to us by e-mail or fax so that it arrives no later than two days before the auction date.
    If you do not have the 'Written Offer to Purchase' at hand, please contact us. We will send it to you by e-mail or fax.

    You can bid in real-time on the day of the auction from the live auction screen. Please register with us first.
    If you do not register with us, you will not be able to participate on the day of the auction.
    After registering, please sign up with (Live bidding registration) to sign up.
    Please sign up as soon as possible as we may not be able to accept your participation on the day.

  • Commission and payment
    You will be required to pay the Hammer Price plus a "bidder's commission" plus "consumption tax on bidder's commission".
    Art Auctions:
    Commission = 13.2% of the winning bid price (incl. tax)
    Example: If the Hammer Price is 10,000,000 yen
    Selling price 10,000,000円
    Commission for an auction 1,320,000円
    Total Amount Paid 11,320,000円
  • Payment method
    Please pay by bank transfer. We do not accept payment by credit card.
  • Payment deadline
    Within 10 working days from the date of the auction (or the following day if the last day of the auction falls on a holiday).
  • Delivery of the work
    Delivery can only take place after payment has been confirmed.
    Delivery will be arranged after payment of the total amount due.
