Bidding at the wine auction

A list of upcoming auctions and dates will be posted on this site.
The list of items for sale can be viewed on this site or in the auction catalog.
(All items will be posted on this site approximately 3-4 weeks prior to the auction.)

Preview

Prior to the auction, we will hold a pre-auction viewing where all items will be on display.
Please come and see for yourself the attractiveness and condition of the items, which cannot be fully grasped from the catalog.
No reservation is required for the pre-auction viewing, and admission is free. Please feel free to come.
New
Registration
Prior customer registration (free of charge) is required for the first time only.
Registration can be made online or by mail. (Identification documents are required for registration.)
*Persons under 20 years of age are not permitted to participate in the wine auction.

New registrations will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on the day before the pre-auction. No registrations will be accepted on the day of the pre-auction/auction.

    Venue bidding

    Venue bidding

    You can bid directly at the auction site.
    On the day of the auction, please pick up your number card (paddle) at the reception desk and participate in the auction.
    The auction will proceed in order of lot number.
    Bidders are requested to raise their numbered bids (paddles) to the auctioneer on the stage in an easy-to-understand manner.
    If you are successful in winning the auction, please confirm the contents of the "Auction Confirmation Form" when you leave the auction, and sign it to complete the process.

    Written bidding

    Advance bidding is by "Written Offer to Purchase".
    Please fill out the "Written Offer to Purchase" form at the end of the auction catalog and send it to us by e-mail or fax so that it arrives at our office no later than two days before the auction date.
    If you do not have the "Written Offer to Purchase" at hand, please contact us. We will send it to you by e-mail or fax.

    This method allows you to participate in the auction by making a real-time phone call on the day of the auction.
    Please fill out the "Written Offer to Purchase" form at the end of the auction catalog and send it to us by e-mail or fax so that it arrives at our office no later than two days prior to the auction date.
    If you do not have the "Written Offer to Purchase" at hand, please contact us. We will send it to you by e-mail or fax.
    If the number of bidders reaches the maximum, we may invite written bids or live bids. Please note that if the number of bidders reaches the maximum, we may invite written bids or live bids.

    Bids can be placed in real-time on the day of the auction on the Live Auction screen. You can also place bids in advance via Live Bidding. Please register with us first.
    If you do not register with us, you will not be able to participate on the day of the auction.
    If you are a first-time customer, please register as a new customer and then register for Live Bidding.

    New registrations must be received by 5:00 p.m. the day before the pre-auction viewing, and live bids must be received by 5:00 p.m. the day before the auction.
     We will not be able to accept applications on the day of the pre-auction viewing or auction.


    Please also use the Top Lot App, which makes your participation in the auction even easier. You can bid on the Live Bid screen from your smartphone, and it is compatible with Android and iOS.

  • Commission and payment
    You will be required to pay the Hammer Price plus a "bidder's commission" plus "consumption tax on bidder's commission".
    Wine Auctions:
    Commission = 16.5% of the winning bid price (incl. tax)
    Example: When the Hammer Price is 1,000,000 yen
    Selling price 1,000,000円
    Commission for an auction 165,000円
    Total Amount Paid 1,165,000円
  • Payment method
    Please pay by bank transfer. We do not accept payment by credit card.
  • Payment deadline
    Within 10 working days from the date of the auction (or the following day if the last day of the auction falls on a holiday).
  • Delivery of products
    To preserve the quality of the purchased goods, all items are delivered refrigerated.
    Delivery will be arranged after payment of the total amount due.
    We will pay all shipping costs, insurance and packing fees for the wines you bid on. (We will pay all shipping, insurance and packing charges for the wine.)
